Week 1:

- Practice playing songs using both chords and single notes.
Week 3:
- Continue practicing and improving your skills from the previous weeks.
- Start learning how to play scales on the guitar. Scales will help you improvise and solo over chords.
- Practice improvising and soloing over simple chord progressions.
- Continue learning new songs and challenging yourself to play more difficult pieces as you progress.
Week 4:
- Focus on learning new chords.
- Practice alternate picking (a technique for playing single notes with a pick) to increase speed and precision.
- Work on developing your ear by listening to recordings of guitarists and trying to play along.
- Experiment with different genres of music and try incorporating different styles into your playing.
Week 5:
- Review and practice all of the skills you have learned so far to solidify your foundation.
- Start learning more advanced techniques such as legato (smooth, connected playing) and sweep picking (a technique for playing arpeggios).
- Begin working on more challenging pieces and continue expanding your repertoire.
