I bet that if you are just starting out or you have been playing for a little while, you know how to play at least a couple of chords, maybe even several. You can probably do some strumming too and maybe some picking. The question is, what does it look and sound like when you do these things?

Here are some questions to ask yourself as a guitar player:

Are you confident?

Do your fingers know exactly what to do?

Can you play without looking at the strings or your fingers?

Do you have to stop and think about what you are doing?

Does it sound right and good?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, you are a beginner guitar player. There is nothing wrong with being a beginner, unless you don't want to be one anymore. Stop Being A Beginner! If you want to improve and get better, now is the time. You can do this! I know you can improve no matter where you are at. It's time to focus and master the skills you already have.
