Back when I was first learning to play guitar, the world was a little different. Back in the 90's I used to sit by my stereo, listening to the radio with a cassette tape ready to record when a song I wanted was played. I remember sitting and listening for the first few notes of that song, anxious to hit that record button so I could capture the song and then try to figure out how to play it! There was no such thing as Learn Guitar Favorites.

Once I had my song on cassette, I could listen, rewind, listen and rewind over and over trying to figure out the chords and the little details I wanted to know. It was difficult at first, but as I practiced listening and learning it became easier for me to learn songs pretty quickly, depending on how difficult the song was.

Things are pretty different now with YouTube and apps and all the different ways we can learn anything online. It's amazingly wonderful! I never thought I'd have so many people watching and ...
